Jason Lillis, Ph.D.

The Use of ACT in the Treatment of Eating Disorders and Weight Concerns

Dr. Lillis is an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a clinical psychologist at the Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center at The Miriam Hospital.  He received his Ph.D. from the University of Nevada at Reno under Steven Hayes, Ph.D.   Jason is the author of two books:  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and The Diet Trap.  His next book, Mindfulness and Acceptance for Treating Eating Disorder and Weight Concerns, is due out in August 2016.
